K3VL60 Now in Stock

K3VL60 Now in Stock!

K-1 Fluidpower is delighted to announce addition of yet another great axial piston pump to the K3V family of pumps. This time round it is the K3VL60 pump from Kawasaki Precision Machinery. The K3V series has been outstanding in performance over the years, meeting and surpassing standards for both home and industrial use. It is therefore our great pleasure to be able to stock this phenomenal pump from Kawasaki for our customers. The K3VL60 continues the K3V series' tradition of outstanding efficiency, long service life, high power density and other exclusive qualities that attest to Kawasaki's artistry in the hydraulic machinery niche.

Getting the Most Out of Your K3VL60 Piston Pump; Here are a few points to note about usage of this pump if you want to achieve the best results:

Keep impurities out: Ensure the fluid to be pumped does not have too much contamination that could ruin the pump or reduce service life. Ensure you thoroughly clean all parts of the circuit before using the pump. Also, choose a filter from our Argos Hytos range to protect the pump from external environment impurities. This will go a long way in preserving your pump.

Choose the fluid carefully: If the pressure of the liquid to pump exceeds 210 bar, then it is essential that the fluid be anti-wear. Monitoring the fluid's temperature also matters if you want to extend the pump's life. Variations in the fluids' viscosity can cause changes in temperature which requires that you obtain a cooler to stabilize it. Additionally, fire-resistant fluids often require special materials for seals, paint and metal finishing so it is vital to seek advice from Kawasaki Precision Machinery about what special components you might need for your circuit relative to the fluid you wish to pump.

Lubrication: As with all machines with moving parts, efficient operation of the K3VL60 pump requires that you pay great attention to ensuring lubrication at all times. Fill both the suction line and pump casing with oil (through the drain port) at all times to prevent imminent failure of your pump.

Period to keep pump out of use: Ensure you do not leave the pump unused for more than a year. If you won't use it for this long, ensure you start it up for a short time every once in a few days to ensure it remains in top notch condition.

Be careful about rotation direction and circuit connections: Running the pump against the flow of fluid in the circuit can cause part or complete failure. Additionally, always be sure that the circuit is correctly configured before starting the pump – let all piping be in place and valves that are supposed to be open be so.

Let's now peek at what makes the K3VL60 such a great choice!

High Efficiency & Self-Priming

In continuation to the KLV series' tradition of excellence, the K3VL60 features a spherical valve plate and enhanced hydraulic balance to provide exceptional performance even in low pressure conditions. This is not to mention its load-sensing capabilities that allow it to prime itself to the operating conditions.

Low noise

The K3VL60 is the ideal pump for low noise environments. Kawasaki Precision Machinery's products are the industry leaders in low noise technology and the K3VL60 is not left out – the tight casing and innovative valve plate design ensure it runs with great efficiency yet unnoticed in the background!

Complete Control

The K3VL60's horsepower can be throttled using various controls and it also responds to mechanical, hydraulic and electric inputs allowing you to be in total control.

These features are just a tip of the iceberg. Visit K-1 Fluidpower and get your K3VL60 – the best piston pump your hydraulic system!
