Suction Filters

We stock effective Argos Hytos suction filters applicable to the most demanding hydraulic and lubricating circuits. The suction filters protect your pump from solid particles e.g. dirt, using full-flow filtration in the suction line. Continuous full-flow filtration is guaranteed by efficient alternative mechanisms that replace by-pass valves. The filters are constructed using carefully selected material to offer robustness, high reliability and ease of mounting. You are not to clean the valve; instead, replacement is recommended every 2 years or 2000 operating hours whichever comes first.

Return Filters

Our Argos Hytos return filters are an effective solution for filtering dirt in return line circuits of hydraulic systems. The filters safeguard your pump against dirt in fluid, from wearing of internal parts and from repairs using full-flow filtration. They feature a bypass valve located close to the inlet port which prevents dirt from entering the clean side of the fluid and a dirt collecting bowl to prevent back flushing of particles into the clean fluid. Fluid flows from outside to centre in a star shaped formation which results in a large filter surface, low pressure drop, high capacity to hold dirt and an elongated life time of service.

Pressure Filters

We have the best pressure filters for pressure circuits of hydraulic and lubrication systems. Our Argos Hytos pressure filters are constructed from premium quality materials for the longest service time possible – aluminium alloys for the filter head and bowl, NBR for the seals and micro-fibre cellulose web paper impregnated with resin for the filter paper. To help in filter maintenance, an electronic or optical clogging indicator is provided. Installing our Argos Hytos filters at points in the circuit that bear expensive gadgets is a sure way to protect them from pressure surges – our high pressure filters can withstand up to 600 Bars of pressure.

Filling and Ventilating Filters

K-1 Fluid power has the most outstanding collection of Argos Hytos filling and ventilating filters for your hydraulic and lubrication systems. Changes in the oil levels in the tanks of hydraulic systems change continuously due to variations in temperature and operation of pressure vessels and cylinders. To regulate this and prevent over-pressure, you need to draw in air from outside. Our filing and ventilation filters will form a useful part of your hydraulic system to filter this air and prevent damage to components. Our filters are vandalism proof – they can only be removed with the special supplied tool – and they can offer up to a year of service.

Clogging Indicators

K-1 Fluidpower offers innovative clogging indicators to accompany our Argos Hytos hydraulic pressure and high pressure filters. Hydraulic filters have filter elements which remove dirt from the system becoming contaminated and clogged with the dirt themselves. The clogging indicator monitors the level to which the filter elements have been clogged based on the drop in pressure of the fluid. Our indicators support up to 5 Bar.
